Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during July by unit
trains and barges, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley,
in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods
as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full July

than Fridays closes.

not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for July
delivery were nine to 14 cents per bushel lower than Fridays noon bids.

a lower basis bid by some exporters.

delivery trended eight to 38 cents per bushel lower compared to Fridays
noon bids. The lower Minneapolis September wheat futures and a lower
basis bid by some exporters pressured cash bids. Protein scales for non-

percent of protein up to 16 percent protein and minus 45 cents each 1/4
of a percent of protein down to 13 percent protein. Some exporters are
bidding a premium for guaranteed 14 percent protein dark northern spring
wheat. Some exporters are not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland via single rail cars
trended 20 cents per cwt lower than Fridays noon bids in response to the
higher Chicago September corn futures. Corn bids truck delivered to the
Yakima Valley were also 20 cents per cwt lower than Fridays noon bids.
