Choosing CHS for your home heating needs allows you to relax by knowing that your propane supply is both safe and secure. We offer a variety of delivery options for your convenience. Simply choose the plan that suits your needs best to create your own customized propane delivery plan.
You must have an active account with CHS before we are able to make a delivery.
CHS will monitor your propane usage based on computer tracking and schedule a delivery when you need a fill. No more worrying about calling for service! Must be a charge worthy account to be eligible for this Scheduled delivery program.
You track your tank and usage, then call to schedule a fill when you need it. Call when your tank reaches 20-30 percent or 5 days in advance to ensure propane delivery. If you are a prepay account, payment for the gallons must be made at the time the order is placed.
Secure your heating needs by using one of our propane contracting plans. Contracting provides you the advantage of establishing a fixed price for your propane needs for a set number of gallons and a set period of time, which can be a huge benefit as propane prices tend to rise during the heating season.
Spend less time thinking about your heating costs each month due to our Dakota winters. If you are a new customer with us, we will work with you to estimate your usage for your first heating season. If you are current customer, we will use your previous delivery history to calculate your usage for the upcoming year. Your usage cost will be divided by 11 months with June as the true-up month. The budget program season runs from July 1st through May 31st.
Contracting your gallons is a popular program to lock in a fixed rate on your gallons for the year, fully prepaid at the beginning of the season. With one lump sum payment upfront, you do not have to worry about watching your propane tank or paying monthly propane bills over the winter. Contract season runs from September 1st through April 30th.
If you are in need of a propane tank, CHS offers a variety of propane tank sizes that customers are able to rent. Our tank lease agreements are a one-time payment each year billed out in July and due in August. Your tank lease payment is based on the size and age of tank you are renting. During your lease period, CHS supplies product to and services the tank if/when it is needed.
